1970

ISA is founded in 1970, with the goal of providing young people with global learning experiences to maximize their potential.

1970’s

ISA sends its first students to Pitzer College, one of the Claremont Colleges.

1980’s

ISA forms business alliances with AIIU (Australian Institute of International Understanding) and NZIIU (New Zealand Institute of International Understanding).

ISA starts high school exchange programs in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.

1990’s

ISA forms business alliances with CHE (Cultural Homestay International), JFIE (Japan Foundation for Intercultural Exchange), and GPI (Global Partners Institute).

2000’s

ISA programs set an attendance record with more than 300,000 students in study abroad programs.

2010’s

ISA initiates educational programs in China and Vietnam.

ISA launches first empowerment program.

ISA (SG) Pte. Ltd. is established, aiming to develop and expand business in ASEAN countries.
